“We are delighted and this is a really great result. We are very grateful for your commitment, professionalism and involvement….We really enjoyed working with you all and we worked well together as a team” - Client Abbotsfield House

We are delighted work is now completed after achieving planning approval (2022) for Abbotsfield House, Wiveliscombe a grade 2 listed building to install roof mounted solar panels to provide energy savings; community electric vehicle charging; self-sufficiently within a semi-rural area and a design which positively addresses Somerset West and Taunton’s Climate Change Strategy

All of the above points contribute towards Abbotsfield securing its optimum viable use whilst having no adverse impact on the significance of this designated heritage asset.

The original fabric of the roof is retained, and the PV’s are a slim design and colour to sensitively retain the character and preservation of the heritage asset.
